If you don’t have access to a cultipacker, a piece of chainlink fence dragging behind an ATV should provide sufficient soil coverage of the seed. No-till seeding uses chemical means to kill or weaken any plant competition in the field. A no-till drill is then used to place the seed in contact with the soil.
