Torii Chair by Bensen

The Torii chair offers both visual appeal and comfort. Its backrest design draws inspiration from traditional Japanese Shinto shrines. Despite its minimalist look and straightforward construction, the chair provides notable comfort and durability, making it suitable for home use. The name "Torii" refers to the wooden entrance arches at Shinto shrines in Japan and translates to “bird perch” in English. This concept is reflected in the chair’s distinct proportions and traditional joinery, as well as the carefully balanced and calm design.
